1.🔎 TikTok Is Turning Into Google-Lite

TikTok isn’t just for dancing anymore. It’s becoming a search engine.
Their new Search Ads Campaigns delivered 2Ă— more purchase lift than non-search ads, with enterprise brands hitting 2.2Ă— and retail close behind at 1.9Ă—.
With 86% of Gen Z using TikTok to search weekly, the app is morphing into a Google-lite. Pairing Search Ads with in-Feed Ads is proving to be a high-return combo.
This isn’t just ad tech. It’s TikTok stepping into Google’s territory.

2.💼 AI Won’t Take Jobs—It’ll Pile on More Work

Nvidia’s Jensen Huang is doubling down on what AI really means for work.
He says automation won’t make life easier—it’ll actually stack on more tasks. Instead of relaxing, workers will be juggling new roles, skills, and tighter deadlines.
Some jobs will fade, others will morph, and entirely new ones will emerge.
This isn’t a distant prediction. It’s Huang’s vision of every industry reshaped by AI.

3.đź’° OpenAI Puts $50M Into People-First AI

OpenAI just launched something called the People-First AI Fund. It’s $50 million set aside to help nonprofits use AI for good—teaching seniors how to use it, building health tools for rural towns, or preparing workers for future jobs.
Any group with a budget between $500K and $10M can apply, and applications are open until October 8. Grants are expected to roll out by the end of the year.
The goal is to build trust in AI by putting it in the hands of communities, not just big tech.
Would you trust nonprofits more than companies to use AI responsibly?
