1.đź“° Microsoft Wants AI to Pay for Content

Microsoft isn’t just licensing content. It’s building a marketplace.

The new Publisher Content Marketplace lets publishers sell directly to AI tools like Copilot, starting with a pilot group where Copilot itself is the first buyer. If it scales, the same model could power other Microsoft AI products.

Instead of one-off licensing deals, this sets up a true two-sided market where publishers and AI tools constantly trade content.

This isn’t a tweak. It’s Microsoft trying to rewrite how AI pays for the words it consumes.

2.📊 ChatGPT Pulse Wakes Up Your Morning

ChatGPT is piloting a new feature called Pulse.

It runs overnight, scanning your past chats, memory, and calendar to deliver a set of visual update cards every morning.

Right now, Pulse is only in preview for Pro users on mobile—not yet on web. You can pick the topics, give feedback, and guide what it researches next.

This isn’t just a widget. It’s ChatGPT trying to become your morning briefing.

3.⚡ Google Shrinks Gemini With Flash-Lite

Google just upgraded Gemini 2.5 Flash—and rolled out a lighter sibling called Flash-Lite.

Flash-Lite is faster, smarter, and more efficient, using 50% fewer output tokens while still handling translations, images, and complex instructions. Meanwhile, Flash itself got sharper at tool use, agent reasoning, and quality—now with a 24% lower token cost.

The push is clear: cheaper, quicker AI without sacrificing brains.
